Here's a list of the major steps during the slate application and our suggested order of the process.
We recommend starting well in advance of the deadline as some steps can drag on for a while before being finalized.
Step 1
- Signing up with EACEA and preparing forms
- Eligibility check based on your documentation (and with your local Creative Europe MEDIA Desk)
- Composing slate with your best possible projects
- Checking rights of selected projects
- Assessing what artistic material will be ready for the application
- Agreeing on deliverance of the material and LOIs/LOCs
- Defining task allocation with Denessen Media
Step 2
- Defining USPs of the projects and sketching the strategy around it
Step 3
- Writing the first draft of project texts
Step 4
- Editing the application and agreeing on changes
- Writing the chapter on innovative character
Step 5
- Final editing of the application
- Final agreement of content
NB: No later than two weeks before the deadline
